BREAKING NEWS: Central Catholic. H.S. in Toledo, OH has blown away the previous Pi Chain record! More details and photos of the event will follow shortly, but CCHS has been added to the top of the list below! Wow! Also making a great showing was Andrew H.S. in Tinley Park, IL, who broke the 2007 record with 32,000 links! Photos of this one are also on their way! Probably the second-most popular numerical feat on Pi Day, behind only that of reciting the digits, is getting together as a class, a grade, or a school, and stringing together a pi chain. All you need is a list of the digits, some scissors, a lot of time, and a whole lot of construction paper.
